Go with the flow
A lace shawl of my own design, combining several wave patterns into one whole ocean.
The sheerness of this exquisite lace shawl comes from both material and technique. In combination they make for a dynamic garment, full of movement. The piece is made in Haapsalu yarn, a region in Estonia traditionally known for very fine wool lace shawls.
The name of the piece refers to the godess Ran in norse mythology. She is the wife of Aegir, the giant of the sea, and together they have nine daughters, all named after (or perhaps naming) waves.
