Blazing ahead

While making fitted garments for others is somewhat new to me, designing clothing for myself has been a hobby for about 15 years at this point. Knitting for myself has met with mixed successes, but this piece I consider to be one of my triumphs!

This coulour combination had been rattling around in my head for a while before I decided to make it a reality. I am very proud of the subtlety in variation between the colours, and the way they sort of bleed together. The inspiration for the piece is maple leaves and autumn fires, and its the one garment that actually made me call myself a designer, not just a crafter.
