Something old – something new
The reason I decided to start my own little business, and by extension needed this website, was because people kept approaching me with little requests. This is one of those!
I love to talk a big game about slow fashion and visible mending. So when a friend of mine asked me to make her lamp shade look good as new again I jumped at the chance. The lamp it belongs to is an antique piece, and my friend wanted it to get a fresh appearence.
By choosing materials according to my client’s taste and careful removal and study of the original cover I was able to make this lamp shade ready for the next 30 years of use. Hopefully it will bring light and a bit of victorian flair into the vibe of the house!
